Carole Goldsmith
Carole Goldsmith is vice chancellor of educational services and workforce development for West Hills Community College District.
Goldsmith has developed career and technical training programs and has significant experience in grant management. She has worked with industry and collaborated with workforce investment boards and educational agencies to provide opportunities for students.
She has been in education for many years. She still is in the classroom as an adjunct professor at the university level. She has worked as an administrator in the K-12 system and currently at the community college level.
While at Fresno Unified, the California Department of Education awarded the vocational programs she oversaw the Program of Excellence Designation. More recently, Goldsmith received the Mariann Loniello Award from the California Community College Association of Community and Continuing Education in recognition for her work in education and economic development.
