City manager of Kingsburg since 2000, Don Pauley grew up in a suburb of Chicago before heading off to Minnesota for college. He has an undergraduate degree from College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN., and a Master’s with honors from Mankato State University, also in Minnesota
From there, he spent two years as a graduate and research assistant at Mankato State University before embarking on a career in city administration in Minnesota and California.
He was city manager of Corcoran for nine years before moving to Kingsburg.
Pauley supports the development of clean and alternative energy in the Valley. “It can more effectively address our air-quality issues,” he said.
