Mark Stout

Mark Stout is vice president of Renewable Technology at Cleantech America, a developer of solar farms and other renewable-energy project -- including a groundbreaking 5-megawatt system that went online near Mendota in western Fresno County.
   
He has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from University of Illionois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s in Energy and Resources from University of Califorrnia, Berkeley.
  
Stout turned his attention to renewable energy after five years in computer hardware and software development. He’s been an energy consultant, helped organize the SJVCEO, was a member of the board of directors of the Central Valley Business Incubator and plays a key role the development of utility-scale solar projects in California.
