Thomas E. Jordan

Tom Jordan is the senior policy advisor at the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District, where he is responsible for developing policy recommendations for district projects and providing recommendations concerning legislation effecting air quality in the San Joaquin Valley.

Prior to his current position, he developed a number of district regulations with community-wide application, including fireplace and trip-reduction regulations in the early 1990s.

He was also the district liaison with the eight San Joaquin Valley transportation planning agencies. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California at Irvine. Prior to joining the district in 1993, he worked as a transportation planner for the Kings County Association of Governments.
