CityLab A Brookings report finds that jobs in the clean energy, efficiency, and environmental sectors offer higher salaries than the U.S. average. This new analysis looks at the characteristics and demographics of the sectors that may grow as America transitions to clean energy.

Application period opens for SEEC Forum Mentorship Program
LGC The recently launched SEEC Forum Mentorship Program is intended to provide an environment that fosters learning and promotes personal and professional growth for young professionals in the energy and climate sectors. Deadline to apply as a mentee or mentor is June 4th.

 CEC Building Benchmark Program deadline approaches 

CEC - June 1st is the deadline to report benchmarking information to the CA Energy Commission for commercial buildings with more than 50,000 sq. ft of gross floor area (GFA) and for multi-family buildings with more than 50,000 sq. ft. of GFA and 17 or more residential units.

Harmony Communities celebrates anniversary of tiny homes conversion program

Civic Spark Partner Recruitment - Second Priority Deadline May 3rd

CivicSpark, a Governor’s Initiative AmeriCorps program dedicated to building capacity for local public agencies to address emerging environmental and social equity resilience challenges, is now accepting partner applications for the 2019-2020 Service Year.

Like a Good Housekeeping or Yelp for large commercial and institutional customers in California, the Hub will help buyers make informed decisions about distributed energy resources. Your input will guide our selection of which products to evaluate. You don't need to be an expert - just weigh in where you can!

Cal-OP ACE Program Buyer Survey
You are invited to participate in a research survey to better understand how government and other organizations are purchasing cost-effective energy related products. This research, funded by the California Energy Commission, is part of the California Opportunities for Accelerating Clean Energy (Cal-OP ACE) Program, an effort seeking to increase the uptake of distributed energy resources (DER) technologies among California institutions.
